CANADIAN RIFLE - lp - £8
Their first 7" is a regular on my own recordplayer and here we then finally have their first full length lp. Canadian Rifle are one of the best Chicago bands around according to those in the know and this lp won't have anyone think otherwise. I am pretty sure there are ex-members of Fourth Rotor in the band, or they at least have the singers twin on vocals? Anyway, this is great catchy melodic hardcore punk with good songwriting and those brash F.R. vocals, reminiscent of Leatherface or early Jawbreaker, interlaced perfectly with bleak melodies and urgent drums - www.myspace.com/canadianriffle
